Guillaume Rémy advised the start-up Gleamer, a publisher of medical imaging software based on artificial intelligence, on its fundraising for a total amount of EUR 7.5 Million with new investors and investors that were already present in the capital.
Founded in 2017, the medical technology start-up aims to transform radiology with its artificial intelligence platform that assists trauma radiologists with semi-automated diagnosis of medical images. In March 2020, its BoneView software obtained the CE mark, enabling the software to be used by more than fifty hospitals – including AP-HP – and clinics in France, where it is used by 800 radiologists.
Amongst its ambitious plans for 2021, the start-up plans to distribute the BoneView software internationally and launch a clinical validation study in the United States aiming to obtain FDA’s (Food and Drug Administration) approval.
Velvet avocats (Guillaume Rémy, partner, Laura Godefroy, associate) provided their expertise and advised the founders and the company on corporate aspects.
